19 years ago tonight / Granny Keil
Boo,
It seems like yesterday and yet it was 19 years ago tonight, we spent the night walking down stairs and riding the elevator up, then walking down the stairs again and again. Your mom didn't have any shoes on only socks. Then after a long, long night you finaly came. Pastor Beverly got to hold you first (I think she was saying a silent Prayer over you) But I Got to Give You Your First Kiss. All your mom could say was "Mom, look what I've got"! What good memories you gave us.....just where did your skateboard go? The time you went to the skate party at our church..... The long talk we had on your 13th birthday.....Going to hear your band at contest.......Sorry I didn't get to see you in the marching band......You living here with Papa and me and having to do homework nightly (UGH).....Taking you and Tony shopping.....But one of the best is the way you ALWAYS ran to us, when you arrived here, for your hug and kiss. The last time I saw you, before the accident, you ran to me again to show me how tall you were getting. I miss you so much, but the love will never die. Wish you could run to me again. Just be waiting at the pearly gates, I'll see you soon. Love with lots of hugs and kisses, Granny
